HotCiSioN Double Shot
The following is a video of HotCiSioN showing off his double shot skills with the battle rifle. This video is an example of one of the numerous Halo 2 glitches. While this is a very impressive video displaying his amazing ability to use the double shot to his advantage it is also a display of weapon usage outside of the design intended by the Bungie staff.

Yes, this film isn't more then a month old. It works on many of the same reasons that BXR and BXB work. It is simply a RRX glitch, with pressing the X in a special timing at the second R is pressed. Your gun will do a forced reload unless you do the "YY" change. The glitch really is impressive in this video.
I would have to say that the number of people that can use this glitch is low. I would think less than a few percent, so it does not become a major factor in the vast majority of games.
This is true Fock. About 6 months ago after I first saw and learned this glitch I told one of my gaming friends that this glitch would eventually be a defining difference between top pros. Unless this glitch is fixed or banned I still stand by this statement. Sometime in the not to far future it will be necessary to execute atleast one double shot to out BR an opponent head to head in a competitive game.
timing, it's all about the timing. It's kinda like you press R, then RX really quick. It's kinda hard to describe how it works I can just feel it with my fingers when I do it.

Ok my friend, who made this video. you are EXTREMELY good at the double shot. i am determined to do this as consistantly as you now, haha. i was just messing around searching how to do it, and came upon this video, your insane man, good job!! its pretty hard to master, but im getting closer with each custom lockout game i play, haha. to everyone else, there is no need to ask for help, all you have to do is go by trial and error, there is no way someone else can push the buttons for you. just listen on how to do it, and give it your best shot. but if you wanna add me to your list, please go ahead Annihil8or or anyone else, its Gmoney2005. I don't believe this glitch works anymore. I can double shoot but then it take its time to reload and i can't fire until it reloads. I've got the double fire down pat but I can't get it do more than one. each time it makes me wait until my ammo bar is back to full, but it never actually goes through the reload sequence.
Well there well neither be double shots or bxr's in halo3.
Double Shooters suck!!! I hope everyone that double shoots eventually gets banned! Trying to exploit a glitch is not honorable. Play the damn game how it was meant to be played and don't find ways to cheat. Double shooters are almost as bad as modders. A helpful hint for those of us that know how to double shoot, but would rather play the fair way. When you are going up against a DSer at close to medium range, jump up in the air and to the side and you'll have a greater chance of putting that DSer on his back. This technique works well with DSer who use default thumbstick setting and not southpaw. Good Luck!!!
dude this kid sucks because he modded his controller. notice how he aims while pushing RRXYY. this is not possible because you have to use your thumb to push x and y. and dont try to say he used different fingers. he was clearly strafing using his left thumb while double shooting and also aiming with his right. noobs
